First entry 09/2015: 125,613 miles. Vehicle title: Clear. Transmission: Manual. ORIG. RESTORED CALIFORNIA EXAMPLE! This Fiat Spider is an original California (Sacramento, Ca.) example owned by the same gentleman for the last 27 years. This car is a 1608cc with 5 speed gearbox. The car was completely restored (except interior) from the ground up! Engine and suspension removed, body stripped to the metal and completely disassembled. The body was and still is 100% rustfree and required no metal replacement as it started life in California originally sold new in Hollywood. The engine was completely and properly rebuilt and runs excellent with no leaks and absolutely no smoke! Updated two barrel weber carb installed original carb and air cleaner included with car. Clutch was replaced and original five speed gearbox inspected. The brakes and suspension also redone at same time with lowered springs and new 185/70-13 Radials. The restoration was completed several years ago and has been driven less than 7500 miles since completion. Always covered and stored in garage and used for weekend pleasure car never driven in the rain. The interior is original and a bit worn, Soft top is very nice and the car has the original soft top boot cover in excellent condition and a rare find. Auctioned at Ebay in 04/2008 to 962proto for: US $4,850.00. Update 03/2020: New owner. Lots of new parts !! Last owner had it for 8 years, did lots of work to it! It is a very nice driver, SMOOTH GEARBOX, DRIVES EXCELLENT, 5 SPEED, GREAT OIL PRESSURE, NO OVERHEATING , ALL NEW BRAKES, great body. Has the small chrome bumpers. New soft top, relatively new paint job, looks good. Trunk is very clean and solid, no rust, Comes with spare tire. The engine compartment is also very tidy and clean, looks great! The interior is very nice, the dash does have a few heat cracks but nothing serious. Sold before 03/2020. Update 10/2021: New owner. Former California (US) car.
