Condition Excellent. This 1971 124 Sport Spider 1600 was built in Sept 1970 and is finished in its original color of Giallo Positano (Yellow) paint over Nero (Black) upholstery. The car was acquired from a NW collector's estate in 2022 who purchased the car back in June of 1976 out of California. The car has survived remarkably well and has benefited of much recent servicing and refreshing during 2023. Mechanical sorting includes a fresh thing belt service, spark plugs, valve adjustment, new battery, new V belts, all fluids, filters, new rear brake calipers, rotors, and pads, new brake hoses, front tie rods, and new tires. Cosmetic refreshening included new quality black full carpet kit, Pininfarina logo floor mats, new wood steering wheel, upgraded H4 headlamps, and new front and rear lenses. The soft top still looks like new and is german canvas, a nice upgrade from the original vinyl type. The interior is in excellent condition including all the real wood veneer. All gauges function including the clock and the original radio operates correctly and plays throughout the one console mounted speaker. This is an extremely nice driving and running 124 that has no known rust problems that plaque so many of these iconic roadsters. Turn the key and the Ansa exhaust rewards you with a throaty rumble, the transmission shifts easily in all gears and the engine pulls very well throughout the rev band.
