First entry 06/2017: Serial # 124AS0005516. I believe '68 Spiders started with AS0005619. I believe this is a late 1967 car but not delivered and registered in Canada until 1968. Also I'm told Spiders came out in Canada 6 months earlier than in the US so this one of the earliest North American Spiders around. I brought this car home completely stripped and in boxes about 10 yrs ago with no clue of what I was getting. The wife wanted it out her garage, husband had passed on. He stripped the car back in 1980 and rebuilt engine, trans, clutch, carb, and bought new parts for most of the rest of the car. He never got around to putting it back together. I've put about 3000 summer miles on car over the past 10 years since I put it back together. It runs perfectly but there are a few minor detailing and electrical things that I don't want to mess around with. So basically everything on the car mechanically is new or rebuilt. I replaced whatever was missing to finish it off. I believe it has the wrong hood. It has the heater controls under dash and not on trans hump and early arm rests. Front and back upholstery on seats is original and they in great condition except for drivers seat. Asking price $12000 US OBO. Update 07/2021: 59k Miles Shown. This 1967 Fiat 124 Spider was acquired by the seller as a partially-refurbished project in 2007 and was subsequently brought to completion over the following year. The car is finished in red over a black interior, and power comes from a 1,438cc inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, a split chrome rear bumper, and 14″ Minilite-style wheels. This 124 Spider is now offered at no reserve with a top boot and Manitoba registration in the seller’s name, listing the vehicle as a 1968 model. Auctioned at BaT in 08/2021: Sold For $20,250.
