CS0/2000/LE - ZFA124CS000178528

Limited Edition: LE-770. 83000 Miles. 81 FIAT SPYDER 2000 ANNIVERSARY MODEL WITH AC. A friend bought this car at a charity auction. I saw it the day he brought it home. I got interested. I made him an offer he coundn't refuse before he realized the value of the car. It became mine. I did a thorough check on ist mechanicals. It passed greatly. However, I do not have the title, but I have the sales paper that can be legally used at the DMV to get a title. However, since this car came from a Charity auction, I was told it is likely to get a Salvage title. This is because the cahrity autioneers usually junk the title in other to erase whatever levy dues are on the cars they auction. Auctioned on ebay in february 2002 for: Starts at $6,500.00. Update 08/2007: The car has 85K miles on it and is rarely driven and stored in a garage or under a carport. It is a 5 speed with a 2 liter engine. The car is a California vehicle. The prior owner reports that he purchase the car at a charity auction, replaced the tensioner pulley and timing belt. He had the car repainted to it's original medium Champagne color and clear coated. He later sold the car because he already had a number of collector vehicles and his wife limited the number of toys he could have (sound familiar?). I saw the car advertised on eBay but it never met his reserve of $10,000. I later purchased the car directly from him and had it shipped to Lake City, Florida where it now resides under my carport. I had the front end bushings replaced and performed a number of minor repairs. The car had air conditioning on it at one time. The compressor, condenser, dryer and some ducting remain, but the entire evaporator and fan unit are missing. Also, the control valve to the heater core began leaking so I have bypassed the heater core. For sale: $7500 OBO. Update 06/2015: Mileage 85.934. The Fiat has been parked on a trailer under a carport and cover for the last 3 years. It looks the same except for dust and mildew that has accumulated. I used to drive this off and on during the weekends just for fun. Strong engine and always a head turner. People are always asking what it is. Battery is dead. The Fiat ran when I last parked it but I am certain it will not start without some finagling. This is somewhat of a project car because it has been sitting for so long. The tires still have tread. For sale in 06/2015.
